ME FIRST Respite Care has experienced, compassionate, screened, bonded and insured Care Companions to come into the home and care for you or your loved one by providing the following services:

Respite Care provides a non-medical temporary break for the family caregiver. We understand that it's because of love that you are providing care, but it can also be stressful, overwhelming and exhausting if relief is not given when needed. ME FIRST Respite Care partners with the family caregiver to support you on this care giving journey and give you peace of mind. Family caregivers take a break from their care giving duties to maintain good health and take care of personal needs. Don't give up the things you enjoy because you are a caregiver. We encourage family caregivers to take a break because burnout is real and so are the consequences.
Veteran Care Services assist eligible veterans or surviving spouse of veterans 65 years of age and older to receive up to $3649 per month through a benefit. The VA benefit can be used to pay for personal care services and eligibility is determined in the privacy of your home at NO COST to the veteran or surviving spouse. Me First Respite Care will determine eligibility in weeks, not months or years.

Personal Care provides non-medical support and assistance to individuals to remain safe, independent and engaged in leading enriching lives at home. It's often the kind of in-home help that allows people to avoid moving out of their homes into more expensive and less attractive settings. The services can include companionship and assistance with daily living (ADLs) which is routine activities that people do every day without needing assistance. The basic ADLs include eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking) incontinence, light housekeeping, laundry and more.
ME FIRST RESPITE CARE non-medical services are provided to adults and their loved ones who may need a little extra help. Hours are customized to fulfill your individual needs.
Drop-In care and Sitter service is also available.
